I had used HRI for years for general maintenance with no issues. Last year I needed to have the HVAC replaced. I paid a deposit on a credit card. The install was eventually done and they billed the balance to the card on file. However, they also billed an additional charge for a maintenance plan which I had not agreed to. The installer said it was a mistake and would be credited back to the card. Several calls and texts later, the installer was telling me that the credit was being processed, would appear tomorrow, etc. The credit never was put through. Calls to the office were unanswered. Luckily I had the admission of the overcharge and promise to submit a credit in texts. I was able to take these screenshots to my credit card issuer as proof that HRI was admitting the billing mistake and had promised sending a credit to the card. The bank refunded the disputed amount.
Bought an ac from them a year and a half ago. Heater didn’t work from day one, still doesn’t have a breaker installed. 1000 promises to come back and fix it but the never have. Currently working on way to take action through the county and the state. Louie was our main point of contact and has broken ever promise he gave us. Now if I want to sell my house I’m going to have to pay out of pocket for it.
Our experience with HRI was wonderful. I usually don't really like dealing with Heating/AC companies, as I've had some terrible experiences in the past. Both the lady on the phone who set us up and the technician from HRI were polite, respectful, informative, timely, and reasonably priced. They installed a "sanuvox sr" purifier and we already notice a difference. Would recommend, and will continue doing business with them in the future!
Outstanding service. Mark was very knowledgeable and experienced with the issue we were having with our outdoor fireplace. Received a quote of $2500 from another company to replace the burner (parts & labor). HRI was recommended to us by another reputable company and diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem in minutes for just a service fee of $125. We’re thrilled to have found them; and highly recommend them for all your GAS or AC repair work!
Absolutely terrible. Almost a year after taking my deposit and many emails and phone calls with still no progress. Always telling us "I'll look into it" or other excuses. They were contracted to pull permits and do gas & plumbing for our outdoor kitchen reno.
