Lennon’s is a beautiful space with genuinely friendly service, but two visits left us disappointed for a restaurant at this price point. We first came on a Saturday excited to try the lunch menu, only to find out they only serve a brunch menu on weekends. We stayed and ordered anyway, but the brunch menu was pretty basic and not great value for the price. We’d have been better off at a traditional breakfast spot for more variety and bigger portions. We gave it another shot two weeks later for dinner, hoping for a better experience. The burrata and the flatbread of the day were both genuinely tasty. The octopus, though, was a letdown: it came out badly over-charred, tough and rubbery rather than tender. At $24, it wasn’t a small miss, and since we had other plans that evening we didn’t send it back. The ambiance and service are a real strength here, but for a higher-end price point, I expect more consistency in the kitchen. Hoping it was an off night, but it’s hard to recommend until the food matches the room.
What a wonderful establishment! We had the pleasure of dining here for lunch for the first time, and it certainly will not be our last. We celebrated a birthday lunch with friends and highly recommend this beautifully decorated restaurant. Our server, Adriana, was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, and they offer a fantastic selection of teas and desserts. We particularly enjoyed the shrimp and steak tacos, as well as the meatball flatbread. Thank you for providing such a delightful experience! Sorry, we ate our food so fast we forgot to take pictures.
I've come here several times the food and drinks are great. Excellent staff and service. I was extremely happy to hear that they have a large gluten free menu and a dedicated fryer. My son is celiac and was able to enjoy the burger and fries. Even GF BBQ sauce. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new place to try. Our server Nick was very attentive and considerate of my son's allergy.
We enjoyed a great brunch here in the comfortable dining room. Service was excellent. He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. Other servers also greeted us and wished us well as we left. The menu has great selections and our entrees were well prepared and delicious.
Lennon's owner, Jeremy, has a heart of gold. He saw me and my buddy Tom selling scarves for the Naperville St. Patrick's Day parade to raise money for St Baldrick's, an organization that fights childhood cancer. Not only did he buy a scarf but he welcomed us into his restaurant to sell more scarves and eat delicious food. I had coffee and chicken and waffles. My friend Tom had Lox. It was a comfortable environment and we escaped the cold for a little bit. The bartender bought a scarf and made us feel so welcome. There is good in everyone and especially at Lennon's. Thank you for the hospitality Jeremy, we will gladly be back!!! Also they had a DJ with awesome music.
