My experience With Pella was absolutely terrible. After signing the contract, I got emails from April saying I need to pay my bill even though the check was cashed two weeks prior and then when I addressed her on it and showed her proof that the check was cleared she then apologized. The installers were good, however everybody after that was terrible to deal with. The stucco people came to do all the repairs around the windows they scuffed and dented 4 month old gutters. They used my Generac standby generator as a cutting board. Their clean up skills were terrible! After the stucco guy me left and I got home i noticed they left mortar all on my brown soffit, my gutters , my pool equipment, and my fence. Prior to us doing this job our house is painted about a year and a half ago and now it had to be repainted again due to the stucco work. As you can see in the pictures, the stucco was poorly blended, and it did not match the existing texture and it really showed after It was painted When I address Pella about this, they did send somebody out the following day To make repairs and clean up. They did not fix the gutters their answer to fixing my generator was to put white caulking on the scratches yes caulking, “ I can’t make this up!” Stay far away from Pella pick any other company that puts windows in and you’ll be better off.
Pella locations are NOT the same. We had Pella install a sliding glass door several years ago in PA and all was perfect from start to finish. November 2025 we have the same door installed in FL and so far it has been a terrible experience. The screen door does not line up properly in the track so it’s not closing and latching. The installer told me that’s just how it is and blew it off. Never gave me the key to the door lock, which I’m now assuming 3 weeks later, we will never get. Had me sign the paper and off they went. Emails sent back and forth with the Orlando project coordinator and never addressed the missing key after several mentions over and over about it. They schedule the stucco repair, guy is super late, no communication, and shows up at 5:15 PM!! At 5:00 PM, I had to call and ask why they didn’t show up. As of today, 3 weeks after install, we are currently waiting for the installer to come back out today to address the screen door. This should be interesting since the stucco has already been repaired and the track that the screen sits in does not align. Communication is horrible and the service is less than satisfactory. They only thing they know how to do correctly is take your money….immediately! For 8K, we expect everything to be in perfect working condition!! I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone! 4/2026 update: The last guy to come out and make all the corrections for the original issues was excellent! He fixed everything and we are happy with the results. Your installation will depend on who you get!
Out of 3 different window companies Pella sales rep Jerry Church was the only one that only gave one price and never tried pressuring us to buy now by offering a one time only special price if we sign up today. That's what the other two window companies did. Pellas first and only offer was the best offer out of the three companies. The install went smoothly and everything turned out great. The windows and sliding door made a huge difference in our home. Everyone that was involved from Jerry Church, JT, Danny, Drake, Marc, Ammie Shoff and the rest of the crew all did a great job making sure everything was done perfect. Thank you too everyone for doing such a great job.
After making a call to Pella customer service to replace a 4’X6’ window installed in 2012 with condensation between the double panes due to a seal failure, I then made a call to my area Pella technician, Mr. Bill Young. He did a great job picking up the service order for me and seeing the entire process through to installation, which took a few months due to weather delay. The window installation by Bill and assisting technician, Jim, went smoothly, job well done! Making payment for the order with Pella customer service was more complicated than it should be. Being in a rural area often means not having dependable cellular service used by the technicians. I would encourage Pella to implement a payment system that allows the customer to pay via an email or text link sent directly to the customer upon completion versus over the phone with a representative. I am grateful for the window replacement job successfully completed! Thank you Bill & Jim!
This review is about Logan's performance as a salesperon. He was very personable and nice. Knowledgable too. I haven't had my windows installed yet so that is why so far I am only reviewing Logan as a salesperson and not the whole company. I still need to update this review in the future when the installation process is done to review the window quality and installaion process.
