UpdateI want more than 5 stars - Had them paint more. They fixed up a paint job unfinished by another - I don’t know why I didn’t go with them first (something about a friend’s family…) - I”ve learned my lesson. Crew came and painted interior. And Jake came back about 5 months later to fix a new crack and a couple others. Very happy - don’t call others first, will call them first next time 😁 5 years ago - Thirty-six year old house which included wood that hadn't been maintained or fixed. We had a lot to figure out with lumber prices and available options. We came up with a great solution! Couldn't be happier!! Thank you Rich, Manny, Carlos, and the rest of the crew! I'm having real copper paint sprayed on garage and front door - to be done in a month (because the product is coming in then.) And I plan to have them also paint the kitchen and a wall-to-wall bookshelf in a couple months. Neighbor recommended them - and I'm happy she did!

My wife and I used Southern Painting for our 1989 house in Grapevine, and we were very happy with the results. Christian was quick to respond with a competitive quote, and the crew was onsite just 2 days later. The crew worked hard to complete the job within the two days specified, and let the house looking great. Overall, I'd highly recommend this company if you are in need of your house being painted.

We recently contracted Southern Painting for two projects. One was the exterior painting of our house and the second one was the whole house interior painting of a rental property. We had chosen Southern Painting because they painted our house exterior years ago. Again, we were very satisfied with the whole process, and the quality of the work. The price was very competitive. For the interior painting we were on a very tight schedule and needed the work done on short notice. We worked with Christian for both projects. He was very responsive and was able to accommodate our tight schedule and finished the job on time. He was at the project site multiple times to check on the work progress and he made sure the work was completed as agreed. It was a pleasure working with Christian.

We just had Southern Painting paint the exterior of our home. They did a great job, were courteous and paid attention to the details. We had a great crew that showed up and started work each day promptly at 8:00 and also came on time to put together the original estimate. They were careful working around a lot of landscaping; very professional and no-stress experience. I would recommend them to my friends.

Although a little pricey, we were impressed with the presentation and explanation of what would be done, the assurance that we need not pay until satisfied, plus the 3-yr. warranty. We scheduled 3 weeks in advance and requested their ‘A-team’ as we had several repairs plus painting. We also requested someone fluent in English on the job so there would be no misunderstanding as to what we wanted done. We were assured that would not be problem and work began the week of June 11. Day 1, the prep appeared to go well. Day 2 started well, but the head of the team left around noon and did not return until end of day. Not only did communication become a problem, but obvious shortcuts were taken and the work for that day was unacceptable. Day 3 was spent correcting the work done on day 2, plus many other flaws throughout. Again, the head of the team arrived with the workers, then left for another job. Once the obvious problems were resolved, we paid for the job. About 5 weeks later, the ceiling repair that we were assured would no longer be a problem failed and split open. I left messages for the service manager, who did not return calls. I then contacted the area manager who did not return calls. I finally emailed the owner of the Southlake location, who replied, but nothing got accomplished. After weeks of ignored communication, then excuses for numerous appointments resulting in no shows and delays, our painting team finally returned to repair their first repair. The area manager came to check our satisfaction and agreed with us that the completed repair was an unsuccessful amateur attempt. He then turned it over to another team to complete. It was finally completed September 27 and appears to be done correctly on the surface, but time will tell. The job is only as good as the team that shows up on your doorstep. And responsiveness from management has been frustrating and unprofessional. Would I hire them again? No, the unnecessary frustration, lack of consideration and repeated waste of my time was not worth it.
