Reviews
This place is honestly one of the most underrated spots in Los Angeles. It’s located at the top of one of the tallest skyscrapers, and the view is absolutely breathtaking — you get a full panoramic look over the entire city, and the best part is that access is completely free. The atmosphere feels relaxed but still special, perfect if you want to enjoy the skyline without dealing with overcrowded tourist spots. The drinks were really good — refreshing, well-made, and reasonably priced for a location like this. What I really loved is how easy it is to get in compared to other rooftop places in LA. No complicated reservations or long waits, just a smooth experience from start to finish. Definitely a place I’d come back to, especially around sunset.
We stopped by to relax for a bit, and at first, we weren’t too impressed with the dinner menu since the options were pretty limited mostly drinks. We honestly just ordered a few things and planned to leave right after. 😂 But wow, we were pleasantly surprised by how generous the portions were! 🤣 The food was really good, especially the tacos they were definitely the highlight! And the best part? The amount we paid for everything we ate was surprisingly affordable. Good food, great value, and a beautiful view to top it all off! We’ll definitely be back to try their lunch menu next time.
Can't imagine a better review of downtown Los Angeles. The service was excellent. If you're in the area or even a local, it's worth trying at least once. Get there at least 30 minutes before sunset for a great show.
The view of the city is absolutely gorgeous during sunset and worth it to come up to just see the view itself. They have a solid cocktail menu, the Kiss of Fire was my favorite drink with Mezcal. The Golden Lotus was also very delicious and well balanced. It was windy and a bit on the chilly side when we went up, but the hostess immediately gave us blankets. We really appreciated that gesture! Our server was also very attentive and professional. Definitely would love to stay here again and come back to Spire 73!
Do not go here. The food was super horrible for the price. The drinks were basically all ice. We got the Hollywood handshake and it tasted just like low quality cold brew. Food wise we got: Tuna tostados: super super tiny and the slice of tuna was so thin, and they put the sauce and toppings on the plate as decor? So you have to scrape off the chili crisp and onions? The pickled onions were barely pickled and did not add enough acid. They gave 3 thin slices of radish… there were 4 tostados Truffle fries: tastes like from frozen and the fries we got on the side did not come w parm on top when we were told they were the same ones as the ones that comes w the burger Grilled prawns: tastes like thawed shrimp cocktail, the slaw it came w was barely seasoned and not acidic at all Burger: dry and barely came with toppings, you’re better off going to a fast food burger chain Chocolate mousse: it’s 3 cookies w some mousse sandwiched between. Barely enough for a family of rats to eat. Sundae: just generic ice cream from the grocery store, nothing special at all and barely any pineapple in it. To top it all off, the hotel had gifted us vouchers for free drinks which they had told us at check in we could use at spire. We had them out when ordering and only when the tab came did the server make a comment that he had saw the vouchers but they don’t accept them. While it was a honest mistake, to actively see the vouchers meaning they knew we were under the impression that we could apply them, then to tell us they had saw the vouchers and still take our order without saying anything is simply predatory behavior to make more money. Also, gratuity is automatically included because they know no one would tip with the quality and size of the food they serve. Take your business elsewhere, you will save hundreds and be so much happier.
