Joshua and Benny worked diligently to help me get the best fence within my budget. They communicated well, checked on the crews to make sure everything was running smooth, and followed up promptly to make sure the job was done right. I’ll be calling them again for all my future fence needs!

Work on my wood-framed no-climb fence began on November 17 and was supposed to be completed in 3–4 days. From day one, there were issues with simple things like the steel post spacing? After several rain delays, the crew returned, but once the wood installation started, more problems became apparent. These issues led to a material change and additional delays. While delays happen, my only request was that the fence be completed before Thanksgiving, which I was assured would happen. The night before Thanksgiving, workers were still on-site well past dark with no sign of completion. On Thanksgiving morning, the fence was still unfinished, and the jobsite was left trashed—cups, plastic, spent nail gun holders, and scrap fence posts scattered around while we had family arriving for the holiday. A few days later, I was told the job was “done” and that the project manager, Josh, would come by to walk the project and finalize payment. At that point, it became clear I had made the wrong decision choosing Stand Strong. The fence is about 250 feet long, and from a distance it looks acceptable—but ONLY from a distance. Up close, boards were falling off, trim had gaps, cuts are crooked, and steel posts were still visible. I raised these concerns with Josh, who assured me the issues would be fixed. On December 9, Josh walked the job with me. I pointed out the workmanship issues, and he acknowledged them, saying he would send his “A Crew” to fix and finish the fence. He mentioned they would be taking a loss and needed to order additional materials, and said I would hear back within a day or two. Well, as I write this the Morning of December 29th, I would love to tell you that he made good on his word, I wished I could tell you that Stand Strong, Stood Strong and I have the fence that I ordered, but sadly that's not the case, in fact, i havent even heard back from Josh since he was here on the 9th, 20 days ago. Update: I received a call from Josh today ironically. He said that there would be an additional 2600 charge in order to deliver the fence that I ordered. When asked why I had to pay more than quoted, I was told that there needed to be a change order due to this being an esthetics issue and that there was "nothing wrong with the design". Furthermore, he said I should have been hit with a change order earlier when I requested that the post spacing be corrected. I requested a call from the owner and was told that wasn't possible as he was the final say in the matter. Up until this point Josh had always been respectful and apologetic, this call was very different, Josh was argumentitive and even hostile. According to Josh, the crew will be out next week to complete the repairs. I have attached images of the current condition of the fence along with the example photo provided at time of estimate. I have been told by Josh on this call, that I am not a "Fence Guy" and therefore I should not tell them how to install fences. Well that is an accurate statement but I am a business owner and this is not how you conduct business. A simple apology and a hey, we will make this right would have done the job. ****************** Your response misrepresents both the facts and the timeline of this project. While early weather delays occurred, they do not explain a project estimated at 3–4 days extending over two months. There were no scope changes that justify either the delay or the additional $2,600 requested to deliver the fence as originally quoted—this is fully documented. During the December 9 walkthrough, you acknowledged workmanship deficiencies and stated a more experienced crew would return to correct them. That never happened, and there was no communication for weeks. Referring to this remediation as “upgrades” is inaccurate; correcting visible steel posts, uneven cuts, loose boards, and trim gaps is basic workmanship, not optional aesthetic work. Lastly, suggesting that concerns be handled privately would carry more weight had requests to speak with ownership not been denied when the additional charges were presented.

I recently had Stand Strong Fencing install a beautiful new custom fence at my home, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations in every way! From the very first contact, their sales representative, Joshua Rutherford was outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. He listened carefully to what I wanted, offered great suggestions tailored to my property and budget, and provided a clear, detailed quote with no hidden surprises. It was refreshing to work with someone so professional and straightforward. And his beard is awesome. The price was fantastic—very competitive for the high-quality materials and custom design we chose. I shopped around, and no one else came close to matching the value they offered. The installation crew was top-notch: punctual, respectful, hardworking, and incredibly skilled. They treated my property with care, kept everything clean and organized throughout the process, and finished the job efficiently without any shortcuts. The fence looks absolutely stunning—perfectly built, straight, and exactly what I envisioned. It has already boosted my home’s curb appeal and privacy tremendously. If you’re looking for a reliable fencing company that delivers exceptional craftsmanship, great communication, and real value for your money, I can’t recommend Stand Strong Fencing highly enough. I’ll be calling them first for any future projects and happily referring them to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing job—5 stars all the way!

Josh and the team at Stand Strong Fencing of Southlake were great to work with. He first came out in July 2025 to quote the project, and once our warehouse buildout was complete, we moved forward in March. Josh even came back out beforehand to make sure everything was aligned before starting. The crew did a very clean and meticulous job, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Josh really cares about quality. When the locks we had ordered were not up to his standards, he replaced them and even custom fabricated welded solutions for the gates. He also came back personally for a final QC after completion. That level of service is rare. Highly recommend.

I hired local fence company in Keller about six years ago. After I paid, a crew came out a week later, put the fence up, and then I never heard from them again. Now, the fence is leaning, and since I’m in an HOA, I get another fence . If you’re like me you have trust issues when it comes to spending a lot of money. But these guys were awesome. They literally communicate with you the entire process and explain everything in detail. My fence looks amazing. Totally different. In a good way.
